Parent and Legal Guardian Notice
Last updated: August 12, 2026
This notice explains how Worbi Clubs uses a minor’s data when a club adds it and what a parent or legal guardian must do to represent the minor.
1. Who controls the data
The club adding the minor decides why and how its operational records are used and must have a lawful basis. Worbi provides the technology and processes data to provide the service to the club. See our Privacy Policy.
2. Data and purpose
Depending on club-enabled features, records may include name, date of birth, contact details, category, sessions, attendance, communications, fees or payments, and identity documents where enabled. The data is used for sports participation and club operations. We do not target advertising to minors or sell their data.
3. Guardian confirmation
When a club declares a person to be a parent or legal guardian, Worbi asks that person to confirm representation from an authenticated account with a verified email. The acceptance is recorded with the minor, notice or policy version, date, and status. Before accepting, the guardian must read this notice and the Privacy Policy and affirm the declared relationship.
4. Children under 13 in the United States
When the workflow identifies a child under 13 in the United States, Worbi blocks the additional features covered by the consent workflow until the guardian completes confirmation. Account and email confirmation is an app control; if law requires an additional method of verifiable parental consent for a particular case, the club and Worbi must complete it before enabling the relevant processing.
5. Identity documents
A minor’s identity document remains pending the linked legal guardian’s approval. Only that guardian may approve or reject it, and rejection requires a reason. Where a club enabled administrative review, it happens after guardian approval. The document stays in a private area with role- and relationship-based access.
6. Your choices and rights
A confirmed guardian may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of the minor’s consent in the app or at privacy@worbi.app. We verify identity and representation before acting. Withdrawal can limit features that require the data; it does not affect earlier lawful processing or records a club must legally retain.
7. Contact
For a question about a minor or this notice, email privacy@worbi.app. For account deletion, see Delete account and data.
